Katie Lindgren


Katie Lindgren is in her third season with the Andover Huskies, moving to Varsity Assistant this season.

Katie grew up in Champlin, where she attended and played volleyball as a middle blocker at Champlin Park HS. After high school, she played volleyball at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and was a 4-year letter winner, captain her senior year, and made it to the MIAC championships all four years with regional tournament play two seasons. She graduated in 2002 with a BA in Exercise Science and Economics with a minor in Management. Katie started coaching at the club level while in college, and has since coached for the last 22 years. After graduating from college, she was an assistant coach for five years at Hamline University. Katie previously coached at Forest Lake HS for five seasons as a varsity assistant. She is excited to bring her passion and knowledge of volleyball to the Husky program this year.

When not on the volleyball court, Katie works for a local exterior company as Office Manager and is also a Real Estate Agent. She has been married to her husband, Chase, for 16 years and has two kids: Reid and Riley who love hanging out in the gym with her!
