Amy Brendemuehl


Amy is in her third season with the Huskies and continues with AVB as a float coach this season. Amy grew up in Plymouth, MN and attended Robbinsdale Armstrong High School. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Morris, earning her Bachelors of Arts in Human Services & Psychology, and competed for four years as an outside hitter in the NSIC. Following graduation, Amy was a volunteer assistant coach with Concordia University, St. Paul and graduate assistant coach at the University of North Dakota. Amy has been actively coaching in the Junior Olympic community the last 12+ years, primarily with MN Select Volleyball Club, with a focus on player and team development at the 16-18 age groups.  

Amy works for Target Corporation as a Human Resources Manager and owns a small business. She and her husband, Lamar, reside in Ham Lake.
